It's an awkward question don't you think? A mitzvah? A mitzvah seems to imply a command. So who commanded? It seem the question of whether one has a mitzvah or not to believe simply doesn't pass logical muster. You either believe because….you BELIEVE, or you don't believe not matter who commands you to.
